Royal Chitwan National Park is situated in the southern terrain (lowland) of Nepal. Chitwan -meaning the heart of the jungle is one of the finest wildlife reserve in the Asia. Originally set up as wild life conservation park, is enriched by more than 400 spices of the birds, over 70 species of wild animals including endangered Royal Bangal tiger, one horned rhino, Sloth Beers, Gharial and many more. The park is easily accessible from 2 main tourist destination Kathmandu and Pokhara; by air, bus or after short river rafting. It has been known as most popular jungle tour destination in Nepal. Just outside the buffer zone of the park is home of culturally rich Tharu people. Along with the jungle tour on elephant back safari, cultural tours into those Tharu villages are worthy. Short package tour of 2-4 day's combined with 1-2 day's rafting trip is very popular to visit the park. Royal Chitwan National Park is synonymous with some of the most rewarding and stimulating wildlife activities in Nepal. The park is approximately 1,000 sq. km. of sub-tropical lowland jungle, five hours by road from Kathmandu or a 25 minute flight. It is home to a multitude of wild animals including the Royal Bengal tiger and the endangered one horn Rhinoceros native to Nepal of which there are less than 1,500 surviving. There have also been more than 420 species of birds recorded inside the park.Most of our jungle itineraries include a stay at a lodge within the park of which there are only six. The accommodation is normally in double thatch cottage style rooms. A typical package is based on a two night / three days stay. Activities include elephant safaris, canoeing, bird watching and nature tours conducted by resident professional guides and naturalists.

The Bardiya National Park is situated in the far west terai of Nepal. From the wildlife and ecosystem point of view, this park is not significantly different than Chitwan but, this is least explored and not crowded, because of it's distance from Kathmandu or from Pokhara. Royal Bardia National Park: Wilderness in the relatively unexplored deep jungles of far western Nepal where wildlife is more that abundant. Remote, Challenging and offering unique adventure for wildlife and nature lovers.The Royal Bardia National Park was initially a Royal hunting reserve. It was in 1976 that it was gazetted as Royal Karnali Wildlife Reserve with an area of only 368 sq. KM in 1982, It was renamed as Royal Bardia Wildlife Reserve Which also included the Babai River Valley. It was only in 1988 that is was granted a status of National Park in order to preserve the dwindling species of rare ecosystem, including flora and fauna, particularly the tiger and its other prey species. This park is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the terai p[providing excellent habitat for most of the endangered species of wildlife and birds. The park now covers an area of 968 sq. KM. It was only 1994 basic facilities existed for independent visitors. It has extensive and varied wildlife-all endangered rhinoceros, Wild elephants, The Royal Bengal Tiger, Swamp deer, Black buck, Gharial Crocodile, Gangetic Dolphins.
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Programs

The Reserve covers 175 Sq.Kilometers. It was established in 1996. Numerous water-holes and marshes make this one of the finest birding areas in Nepal. The grasslands support an important population of the Asiatic buffalo.Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve first Gazettes back in 1976 was mainly established to protect the rare wild water buffaloes. The area of the reserve extends 175 sq. km. to the north of one kilometer long barrage that spans the Koshi river. The vast expanse of water created by the barrage, marshes, lagoons, mudflats and arable land that lie around it offers an outstanding wetland which has about to created one of the best and finest bird watching sanctuaries in Asia.
